My name is Christina Myers and I first became interested in hypnotherapy when I wanted to make changes to my own life.

I sought out a Hypnotherapist, feeling somewhat anxious, and quite sceptical. The changes I experienced were quick and dramatic. I consider it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

My background is in Primary Education and in child development and both have provided a good foundation on which to build my own understanding of hypnotherapy.

I have always had a great interest in psychology and the workings of the mind and have discovered much over the years about learning theories and the development of understanding and emotions in children.

I chose to study locally in order to gain the practical experience necessary and also to observe an experienced hypnotherapist at work. I studied a Diploma Course in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Claire Chesters of Celestial Healing (www.celestialhealing.co.uk).

I have built on this foundation by completing further studies in Advanced Hypnoanalysis and Psychotherapy using materials produced by Terence Watts (www.essexinstitute.co.uk)

I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) at Diploma Practitioner level (www.general-hypnotherapy-register.com). This is validated by The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) who act as a link between the hypnotherapy industry and the Department of Health (www.ghsc.co.uk) The GHR is the largest Professional Register of Hypnotherapists in the UK
